BUT - once SR4 enters crash to desktop mode, I change my pc date to the next day and BOOM it works It is a completly bonkers fix that so far has been consitantly working, while the other solutions would. Saints row IV keeps crashing/freezing! I have updated all my graphics software, and I run Saints Row IV in compatibility mode for windows 7 and I run it with administrator priveleges. AMD graphics settings. I even deleted all the files in the steam folder besides user data, steamapps, and steam.exe. Restarted, ran it again.
